Busy Days

     On Thursday, we had a 2 week check up for MP and I had to go back to have my incision checked. Tanner had to work so Lynn drove us to Memphis. MP was fabulous as usual because she LOVES being in her car seat. She is now weighing in at 8.1 and is 20 1/2 inches long. She gained almost a pound in a week!

     That night, Tanner went to the Memphis vs Mississippi State game and we had a girls night. Anna, Rachel, Ryleigh, Reese, and Rebecca came over and cooked a delicious dinner. It was so good to have them here and we had a great time. Reese loved MP and was a huge helper.

      Friday we finally got a day all to ourselves. Tanner and MP had their first "daddy daughter day" and mommy got to relax and take my very first nap since MP was born. I woke up to her screaming and to find Tanner giving her a bath all by herself.  On Saturday, Kerry Ann, Nancy, and I took MP to lunch and shopping at The Freckled Frog. We got Annabelle some cute outfits and stopped by to see Lizzy and her family. We have been praying nonstop for our new little friend and can't wait to meet her. Last night we ventured to Marlo's for our very first night out for Summer's birthday. MP stayed with Boogie and Chubs and mommy couldn't get home fast enough. We were only gone for 2 1/2 hours, but it was the longest time of my life. They gave her a bath and she was snoozing when we got home. Today we are spending the day cooking out and hanging with the family.
